3 reasons why TODAY is the day to give

Today is the day.

On Giving Tuesday we ask our community to say that democracy is more important than shopping. Here are 3 reasons why we’re asking you to donate now.

  1. Your donation today automatically doubles. Our Board is offering a matching challenge.

  2. Your donation inspires others. Share your donation on social media and ask your community to join you. Sign up as a PB Amplifier to spread the word even more.

  3. You decide how to spend your donations. After giving, you’ll get to vote in our own PB process. You’ll have the power to decide how your donations are spent.

We are the only organization in North America whose focus is to advance PB. It’s a big job but we can do it together!

IMPACTS

YOUTH EMPOWERMENT

Max Drury, as a 13-year-old, is one of the youngest PB participants in the U.S. In 8th-grade Max acted as a budget delegate and his idea won $225,000 for a Gym Renovation project, which helped create a facility for students to enjoy dance and other fitness activities.

BUILDING COMMUNITY LEADERS

Kellie Morris served on the Long Beach PB Steering Committee and helped facilitate group meetings in her district. She made a difference in her district by helping more people’s voices be included in government decision-making.
