Empowering Youth through Participatory Budgeting (Jan. 10th Conference Call)

Join PBP this Friday, January 10th for a conference call discussion about engaging and empowering young people in participatory budgeting. See below for more info!

Date: Friday, January 10, 2013
Time: 1:00 p.m EST / 10:00 a.m. PST

Over the last year, The Participatory Budgeting Project and other PB organizers have developed diverse new experiences in engaging youth in participatory budgeting. In Boston, PBP is now implementing the first ever youth-only PB process in the U.S., and in California we’re supporting groups interested in launching PB in school districts. To continue sharing best practices with our partners and allies, we are convening an hour-long conference call on youth engagement in PB. If you have experiences to share, challenges to discuss, or if you just want to learn more, join us on our call this Friday!
