Kyle Bozentko of the Jefferson Center shared lessons from “citizen juries“, which take a randomly selected and balanced group of citizens to deliberate and make informed and thoughtful recommendations about a public issue.
Ashish Goel of Stanford’s Crowdsourced Democracy Team works on collaborative decision-making, including developing innovative ballot platforms for participatory budgeting in many cities across the US.
