Alexis Gudding - They/Them
Operations Coordinator
Who are your people?
My people are the ones who make space for themselves and others. The ones who see what is already wonderful in the world and work to sustain it.
What is your why? What brings you to PBP or the work that you do?
I'm here because I believe people already possess all the power they need. My hope is we can use it to organize in creative and thoughtful ways that benefit everyone.

Petula Jarvis-Hanley - She/Her
Democracy Beyond Elections Coalition Manager
What is your why? What brings you to PBP or the work that you do?
If I don't fight for positive change in my community then why should someone else? I believe in leading by example. I love my community because it is an extension of my family and myself.
What is your motto or personal mantra?
Find the light! Be the light! Share the light! This comes from my favorite Biblical text. One that has been my mantra; one that I have tried to live by. "Let your light so shine before men...."

Robbie Barton - He/His
Communications Associate
What is your vision for the world you want to live in?
My vision for the world is one brimming with health, cooperation, justice, democracy, and regeneration. One in which we reckon with the past, center all of our lived experiences, and manifest the future collaboratively. In my vision for the world, we all live together as kin - human and non-human.
How do you embody leadership?
By sharing it and celebrating the gifts of others! For me, leadership is about how we act, care for, and share power with each another.

Jane DeRonne - She/Her
Development Manager
Who are your people?
People who think, communicate, work through differences, and believe in the power of community to forge a better way.
What brings you joy?
My kids, new ideas, collaborating with thoughtful people, and seeing sunshine on water.
