Come celebrate taking participatory budgeting to the next level!

For the past decade, we’ve built a movement in NYC – and across the country – to expand democracy and civic engagement. We’ve won big this year! From Mayor de Blasio’s announcement that all public high schools will launch participatory budgeting (PB) to NYC voters approving a citywide PB process, one that will likely more than double the size of PB in the US. At a time when our democracy is under attack, we’ve dramatically expanded participatory democracy.

We couldn’t have done this without you! And we’re counting on your support for the big plans ahead.

On Wednesday, November 28th, please join us at a celebration and fundraiser at the Brooklyn Society for Ethical Culture (BSEC). Our superstar board members Joan Alexander-Bakiriddin, Robert Sherman, and Mike Menser will host along with Rebecca Lurie, BSEC Board President.

PB leaders will share the latest updates, and you’ll get to mingle with some very exciting special guests including:

  • City Council Member Jumaane Williams
  • City Council Member Brad Lander
  • Shari Davis, PBP Co-Executive Director

Help us push participatory democracy and PB even farther. We have limited spots – get your tickets now!
