We seek an intern to join our team this summer with a focus on telling the story of participatory budgeting (PB). This position will work out of Brooklyn or Oakland offices for at least 15 hours per week starting in Early May – August. Dates and days are flexible. There is an honorarium that will be paid monthly.
The position reports to the Communications Director, based in our Brooklyn, NY office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Create content for digital channels including PBP’s blog, Facebook, Twitter, and email newsletter:
- Write and edit
- Create images
- Code and schedule posts on WordPress and other social media channels
- Track pieces as they are started, revised, and posted
Track media mentions of Participatory Budgeting
Track and report analytics associated with digital channels using Google Analytics, Facebook Insights and more as required.
