The Participatory Budgeting Workshop Series is a great way to build foundational knowledge, explore specific participatory budgeting (PB) topics, or support ongoing organizational learning.
These public, interactive workshops are open to practitioners, public servants, community leaders, advocates, and anyone interested in designing, implementing, or strengthening participatory budgeting processes. Unlike our customized technical assistance offerings, which are provided through partnerships and contracts, these workshops offer accessible opportunities to learn from PBP staff.
What Past Attendees Have Said About Our Workshops
“The PBP team are super knowledgeable, patient and open. They are great partners in kick starting our learning, and gave great direction for where we go next. Thank you PBP”.
“I came into the training with a general understanding of Participatory Budgeting processes, and left with much more detailed and practical knowledge about how to plan for a successful PB experience. At the same time we stayed grounded in the principles of inclusive and meaningful participation. Looking forward to putting this learning into practice!”
