An Innovations in Participatory Democracy Conference Treat!

This isn’t a trick; it’s a treat!

We’re extending our call for proposals for the Innovations in Participatory Democracy Conference, and want to hear from you!

Submit your proposal by December 1st to share your work with an international audience of more than 250 community leaders, government officials and staff, practitioners, researchers, funders, young leaders, and technologists.

Our team will review proposals on a rolling basis. We’re excited to lift up presenters as they’re accepted, and share a bit about why they believe in innovations in participatory democracy as well as what they hope to see at the 2018 Conference in March.

Submit your proposal to speak alongside these presenters – and more – by December 1st!

“Democracy, by its nature, is always changing and evolving. Couple that with advances in technology, society, and culture, and you come to a pretty obvious conclusion: If we’re not innovating, we’re going backwards relative to everything else.”

—Francesco Tena, Participatory Budgeting Project West Coast Project Manager
